Important
Contains an anti-inflammatory (NSAID, like ibuprofen): do not use with a stomach ulcer, aspirin/NSAID allergy or asthma triggered by them, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with other anti-inflammatories.
- Flurbiprofen is an anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID), like ibuprofen. Do not use if you are allergic to flurbiprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs (including asthma, runny nose, swelling or hives triggered by them), or if you have, or have had, a stomach ulcer or stomach bleeding.
- Do not use with severe heart failure or severe liver or kidney disease, or in the last three months of pregnancy. Avoid in earlier pregnancy and while breastfeeding unless a doctor advises.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first if you have asthma or allergies, high blood pressure, heart, liver or kidney problems, a previous stroke, lupus, Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, or if you are elderly.
- Check with your pharmacist if you take other medicines, especially other painkillers or aspirin, blood thinners, steroids, antidepressants (SSRIs), blood pressure or water tablets, lithium, methotrexate or quinolone antibiotics.
- Stop using and get advice straight away if you get a rash, mouth blistering, wheezing or signs of stomach bleeding. See a doctor if your symptoms get worse or you have signs of a bacterial throat infection.
- Sweetened with maltitol and isomalt: not suitable for people with hereditary fructose intolerance and may have a mild laxative effect. Contains sunset yellow (E110) and orange flavour fragrance allergens, which may cause allergic reactions.
